I bought a new Little Giant egg turner to go into my Little Giant incubator in September, and only used it for less than a week prior to this current incubation attempt.

I set some eggs into the incubator on Sunday, and yesterday I noticed that the egg turner didn't seem to be moving. Since it moves slowly, I kept an eye on it. It's not moving at all. So now I have 10 eggs in an incubator that may not have been turned since Sunday. I will call TSC when they open (it's 5:30 am) and hope they have another one in stock so I can trade it out. This is the egg turner that is recommended for this incubator, and I did not get any water on it. It is set in there correctly.

I removed the eggs long enough to check the egg tuner, and everything looks fine, except the thing doesn't work. Ideas? Recommendations for a decent quality setup for my next hatch?

Edited to add: I shook it, and it seems to be going again. Hope it survives long enough for me to get a better setup.

Yikes! :barnieI have a couple of the LG 6300 turners that I use in Hova-Bator 1588s and they've worked just fine. Worst case scenario, you could hand turn, if you're near the incubator all day.

ETA: based on my experience, I'd be more concerned about the incubator's performance...I had an LG 9300 for a short stint as a hatcher and the temperature spikes were maddening. Hope yours is better!
