I haven't tried to see what our Chi will do with the chicks. I'm afraid she will think they're toys...and she's wicked with her toys!!

Those pix of mama and her brood are adorable!

She will stand at the coop door and cry to get in when I am busy doing things outside near the coop.
One day she jumped up in one of the nest boxes and just laid in there while I was busy. Wish I had my camera with me then!

We just tore down the larger one to replace it with a NEW one!

It was in really bad shape. A lot of rotten wood, none savalagable because it was full of grub worms.
