New Mama Needs Some Help

Hi I need some help. I got these little guys at TSC a couple of days ago. I know that my local store got their chicks from Mt. Healthy. They are really dark with redish brown tips on their wing tips, with a light spot on their chest.

Can you get some pics without the red light? We can't see colors or any details.

They all look like Black Sex Links (Black Star) and they all appear to be girls from what I can see.

Sorry about the red light. Thats the brooder bulb, I didn't have a choice on the color. I got it for a penny, I'll go with it. Here are some much better pics my sis just took.

You'll have to excuse the ponytail, it gets in the way alot.

Not to make me seem like an idiot, but I didn't realize how much white they had on them. They have white rumps too

how the heck can you tell if those tiny chicks are pullets from those pics?

LOL because they're sexlinked. Cockerels will have a white dot on their heads...

That would be pretty cool if they were all girls, I don't know. They were in the asst. brooder. I got all 8 that they had. It was them or cross rocks, so I got them.

I think they are 10 days old, does that seem right? So, are they Sex links? I have to do reaserch on every animal I own, and I might as well get started. LOL
