Hi All,
I'm a new member, I'd really appreciate some advice as our vet (who is absolutely fantastic) is not in today.
Our hen is going through her first molt, otherwise very healthy and happy she laid a lash egg on Sunday night, so we found it on Monday morning.
She is eating pretty well, loves live mealworms and is happy etc. her droppings are good, but, she's standing like a penguin. She's recently recovered from a respiratory infection which was successfully treated with Cortisone and Baytrill (she absolutely detests the taste of Baytrill though, which has caused her to be wary of food at the moment).
The vet is back in tomorrow, but does anyone have any advice or maybe something to put our minds at rest in the meantime?
If she does have an infection up there, would Tylan be ok?
Thank you
Apologies if this has been posted in the wrong section, but I'm panicking a bit, and never used a forum before, apart from looking for advice.
Thank you
