I am glad to have found this forum and the wonderful folks here before me.
We bought 4 acres in the middle of Iowas cornfields and are anxious to get starded raising laying hens. I am a historical Tinsmith and reenactor, so I am leaning toward historic breeds like Dominiques. Let me know what you think.
