Hello you can call me Dita I'm shy and may not be overly active but you may see me around here and there!

(1)Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I started with my first chicks back in June 2020 so I'm still pretty new!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

I currently have 9 chickens. (The are so addicting and fun to keep as pets and egg layers!)

(3) What breeds do you have?

Pip- Rhode Island Red
Mercy- Light Brahma
Treble- Blue Copper Maran
Lace- Golden Laced Wyandotte
Lucifer- Barred Rock
Adora- Austra White
Varsha- Golden Laced Polish
Hemera- Buff Laced Polish

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

Just having them around. I love chickens and have for a while but this is my first opportunity to keep them myself.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I love to draw, watch real crime shows, and anime

(6) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?

4. Some of my favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens are
- Eggs~ Gotta love the eggs
- Each chicken has a unique personality
- Discovering the different breeds of chickens and preserving endangered ones

5. Same as you, I've been following it for a while, looking for answers, and finally decided to make an account (about half a year ago, I think? ) to be able to put my 2 cents in to where some people might need it.

Thanks for the welcome! My current favorite shows to watch when it comes to real crime is Evil Lives Here and I was also really enjoying Twisted with analyzing the mind of a psychopath/serial killer if they seem like shows that could be up your alley I would recommend checking them out
