Any higher of temperature and you probably would have cooked the eggs. Around 100 is best. Often times if the temperature runs high the chicks can hatch a day or two early and if it runs low a day or two late. Again good luck and have fun.Lol that makes me less worried about their temps now.

Omg! Ya I have mine attached to a thermostat and when it got to 102 I freaked out lol glad yours hatched!!You'll get it next time! I hope you have a good hatch! When i incubated my first chick the temperature spiked to 108 a few times! the chick still hatched
