New Member and New Coop

Made a few changes over the past month or so:

Removed the roosting bench and added a roosting ladder.

Raised the nesting boxes and added a slanted roof so they couldn't roost on it.

Added a tin roof on top of the painted plywood roof.

I am in the process of painting the batten I added today to the oak boards. I will post pics of that this weekend when I finish.

Also picking up the hardware cloth to add to the run.

Your crazy that is a very very nice job and I am a carpenter, just a note it will be too small, you have a great set up and you are starting that fine young man on your lap to something both of you will indeed cherish for a long time. spending time in my coop with my daughter is the best time of the day. but like you i started small and as you can see i have caught the fever, moral of the story plan for expansion and lots of fun.

Once again great job, I salute you as a father.
