Hiya, and welcome to BYC!!

having chickens for years , however , this year around we have issues with broken and eaten eggs a lot, if we are home and check regular,lots off eggs... not home (work) broken eggs and completely eaten. we are pretty sure we have a few hens that are hunting for eggs now... so questions... how to resolve ? how to build better nesting boxes? egg roll outs ?
anyone have results with this ?
thanks , glad i found this forum.

I started out with plastic eggs I got from hobby lobby.
The hens pecked the heck out of them for awhile but haven’t touched a real egg since starting to lay.
