(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am new to chickens. I was raised around chickens as a child but never handled them.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
None yet. The eggs are going into the incubator very soon. Possibly tomorrow.
(3) What breeds do you have?
They will be Black Austrolorp/Chantecler mix
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I will enjoy having them and the eggs will be great quality. I will enjoy it if they eat the insects and moles in my yard.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Cake decorating, watercolor painting, pets, crochet, sewing, card making, journal making
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a small dog- Chihuahua Pomeranian mix, I am a Realtor and do food deliveries. I am an animal lover and I used to foster dogs and cats.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Not sure. I think I was on a chicken page somewhere, asked a question and ended up here.
