I think your summers are a lot more moderate than ours. I've only had BR, BO and Welsummers but they do well in Central Georgia.

Many folks here have had almost every breed you can imagine with no heat issues - as long as they have plenty of water, shade, and cold treats. I also have a fan on their confined run area
