Good morning! After lurking for quite some time via many Google searches, I am happy to finally be a part of this forum.

My avian residents currently include a Barred Rock rooster, a rooster of unknown breed (help?), and a Black Sumatra who I suspect is a rooster (help?). My girls include 4 Barred Rocks, 2 Buff Orpingtons, 3 Araucanas, 1 Cuckoo Maran and 5 Rhode Island Reds. I also currently have 2 of what I believe to be Old English Game Chickens (help?).

Having had chickens on my property previously, I functioned mostly as caretaker when they were sick. I am having a lot of fun now really handling my birds and getting to know each of them. They all came to me just 19 and 20 days ago and seem to be enjoying their new home.

I am looking forward to lots of conversation about our feathered families:) .

On left: Old English Game Chicken? On right, Black Sumatra, does he look like a rooster to you?

Here is my rooster of unknown breed. Is he an Araucana?

! Great to have you with us! Those are some fine looking chickens! I think the mystery rooster - the good looking red and white guy - is an Easter Egger - with some really boisterous tail feathers - very handsome! I think aracauna's are generally rumpless. Best of luck to you and Happy New Year!!
