My name is Daymi and I have had chickens and other poultry since I was very young. I am starting my flock over as I recently moved back to Arkansas, I have a Dominique hen, unknown mixed hen, Ameracauna hen, White Leghorn bantam hen, Golden sex link/ RIR hen, RIR roo, 2 light brahma roos, mixed cochin bantam roo, 3 game hens and 3 game roos.

I found out about BackYardChickens.com because I needed info on incubating chicken eggs, which I have never attempted before.

Some of my other hobbies are: raising goats, sheep, cattle, and other types of fowl. I also enjoy gardening and reading.

I live on a small farm with my husband, Fernando, and our 2 Chihuahuas, Gracie & Beetle.

If you are looking to incubate eggs i have some helpful links and a link to a popular incubation thread.

Helpful notes from the incubation thread is here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/incubating-w-friends-helpful-notes-links-informational-post-links

The Incubations thread is here: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...chat-meet-new-friends/72300_100#post_16722698
Don't feel the need to read it all, but if interested just jump right in.

There is this popular hatching guide here : https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/hatching-eggs-101 Currently there is an issue accessing it unless you are on mobile, hopefully that issue will be resolved.

Currently there is this April hatch a long, you might be interested in: https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...april-hatch-a-long-hosted-by-mike-sally/0_100
