We just moved from Glendale to the area around Show Low. How did your flock handle the recent heat wave? It was up to 104 even here in the White Mountains, I can only imagine what the city was dealing with. Can't tell you how relieved I am that the temps seem to have calmed down and stabilized.
They did ok in the heat. I had the mister's up and had them on a timer. When we got the rain, I just put it for the rain delay. I have been trying to breed for the one's that handle the heat the best, but are still friendly. No one need's a mean rooster, right?
