from kind of a neighbor!! I lived in West Sacramento until mid-july, work in Sacramento, and my daily commute is now 52 miles one way.


I knew you had to be from Sacramento, with that Nov 1, three chicken rule. Buff Orpingtons and Barred Rocks! Yay! Two really good breeds for friendliness. And so pretty to watch, too.

I hope you are a customer of Bradshaw Feed, because I found them to be the BEST feed store around that area. I still patronize the place because it's only a couple loooong "blocks" off my way home from work.

You have a few more BYCers in Sac, One being mediazeal. She has some awesome breeds and she's very helpful. If you look her up she has a website or page here with all her birds. Like I said you have a lot of people in your area, so you'll have chicken friends close by.
