Thank you! I think one was hen-pecked a lot before I got her (her bum was bare), but she's doing great now and her feathers are growing back. You can kind of see in this picture (she's on the left):

they will be MUCH safer from preds, if you swap out the chicken wire, and replace with 1/2" hardware cloth securely fastened to the frame. Predators can slice through chicken wire like ahot knife through butter.

I'll 2nd the Hardware cloth recommendation. Even if you're in the city, coons and possums still roam the streets at night. It's heartbreaking to wake to the carnage.
