We took heavy sheep fence and ran it under the chain link fence run making sure that there was about a foot of the sheep fence was under the chain link and about three feet was on the outside of the chain link an the ground. Then we used the same heavy duty sheep fence to cover the run. That bear tried to dig under the run and ran into fence so he then tried climbing the chain link and ran into more fence and gave up. The fencing on the ground is covered with dirt so they don't know it is there.

Chicken Fort Knox... *sigh* the bear that we had just destroyed the side of the actual chicken house.
