Well, you definitely made it clear to me that there’s not a major difference in the hens and roosters in the Whiting True Green breed. There’s a very clear distinction between the Blues. Now I need to find a breeder that will sell me a juvenile Green rooster.

If you don't have an objection to hatchery stock, Murray McMurray's has them:

Thank you! I’m glad to finally be a part of your community. I look forward to learning from those of you who have been raising chickens most of your lives and even those of you who have less time under your belt. I always gain much more knowledge speaking to individuals who are in the community than I do using google. Y’all know the tricks of the trade, the home remedies, and have great insight since you spend time with chickens every day.

That’s where I got my others from. I ordered 10 pullets and ended up with one blue rooster. All good. Now it’s got me wanting to get a green rooster. Does McMurray sell juveniles? I only know of their chicks and you have to have a minimum order. I would take a male chick and keep it in the brooder for a while if I could get just one.

I haven't ordered from them in a long time, but remember that they sometimes have juveniles. You'll have to check their website to see what they have and what the minimum order is...I doubt you'll be able to order just one.

The roosters definitely look different. Notice the large comb and waddles and the hackle feathers

They do sell juveniles. I bought my 5 as juveniles last year in Sept from them.

I checked their juvenile list and they don’t have what I’m looking for but thank you for trying to help me.
