Found this site while surfing the net to identify a couple of fuzzy-footed hens my daughter's neighbor asked me to "adopt." ID them as Buff Brahmas.
We had chickens and Guineas 20 years ago - Rhode Island Reds for eggs and pearl Guineas for insect control in the garden - but were out of the poultry loop until the two Brahmas and a NH Red needed a home. Got some ideas about building a coop and run from this site - THANK YOU - and put together a nice home for our new birds.
Have already added to the flock, thanks to our local Southern States needing to find homes for a few RI Red chicks before Easter....three fuzzy little pullets in a Tupperware brooder in the living room.
