Found this site while surfing the net to identify a couple of fuzzy-footed hens my daughter's neighbor asked me to "adopt." ID them as Buff Brahmas.
We had chickens and Guineas 20 years ago - Rhode Island Reds for eggs and pearl Guineas for insect control in the garden - but were out of the poultry loop until the two Brahmas and a NH Red needed a home. Got some ideas about building a coop and run from this site - THANK YOU - and put together a nice home for our new birds.
Have already added to the flock, thanks to our local Southern States needing to find homes for a few RI Red chicks before Easter....three fuzzy little pullets in a Tupperware brooder in the living room.

Welcome to BYC!

So glad that BYC was able to help you out! This is the place to be when you own poultry.

So pull up a roost bar and make yourself at home. Enjoy your flock and welcome to ours!
