New Member from East Texas

Hi, everyone. I have been raising chickens (and geese) for about 14 years now. We live on 3 acres and by day my 30 hens and 3 roosters have the run of the place. At night every one is locked up tight.
I have experienced foxes, possums, raccoons, hawks and wild and domestic dogs. Every thing likes to eat chickens. We live just north of Houston and the weather is pretty mild so the predators abound. I love my chickens and many people think I am crazy when I talk about them. So, here I am, very happy to find a group that likes to talk about chickens.
