(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had chickens for quite a few years now.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 5 hens and 2 roosters, one of which lives with my goats. Today I brought home 7 more hens, about 4 weeks old.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have RIR, Buff Orphington ( sp?), speckled sussex, Aracuanas and White leghorns.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I found out about BYC from cruising the web.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Other hobbies include dairy goats, growing a garden, most any outdoor activity but especially hiking and kayaking
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My husband and I have 4 acres just outside of a medium sized town in GA. We have 3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 monkeys, 2 cockatiels, 2 parrots and about 14 chickens. We are self employed doing residential cleaning. We also provide fresh produce and eggs to our cleaning clients.
