New Member from Hot, humid Lousiana!!

Well, somewhat hot, we have a bit of a cold front right now, it's in the lower 90's

My name is Kristie and currently I have three chickens. I had started out with three Barred Rocks, one got eaten by a snake. Went and got one more barred rock and a Brown Legging. A few nights ago, I lost one of the original Barred Rocks to a Raccoon that outsmarted my security system for the coop. About to become a momma to 5 more chickens to replace the last one

. I have no idea what they are yet.

I'm looking forward to getting thoughts and advice on the care of my chickens and to also share my adventures and stories. I am loving having chickens!!
