Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! This is really nice article from the Learning Center on figuring out how much space you want www.backyardchickens.com/a/how-much-room-do-chickens-need the general rule of thumb is 4 sq feet inside and 10 outside, more is usually better, especially if you have long winters where they will be in the coop a long time. Also take into account if you are going to house the ducks and chickens separately.
You might also like to check out the BYC Learning Center, lots of good articles on all aspects of chicken/poultry keeping. https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center And it is always fun to check out your state thread for chicken keeping neighbors https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/110/kentucky-people

Welcome to BYC!

Congrats on all those babies!! Kelsie has set you straight on the square feet per bird. It is very tempting to override this space rule, but you can have all kinds of aggression issues if you try to squeeze them in.

Definitely stop by our learning center for lots of great articles on raising your new brood.

Enjoy all your poultry adventures and welcome to our flock!

Thanks ya'll I love my chicks and ducks! Can't wait to watch them grow...
