Nice to meet you. I would like to take more pictures but my hens are in the dark coop and the pictures come out red from the heat lamp. Maybe I could put one of them in the snow for a few minutes to take one. I will try it later. I need to clear the snow out of the yard and drive first. That will take me almost all day. Luckily I don't have to do it by hand anymore. I think we got about a foot of snow last night. The snow already goes over my poop boots. Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks for the welcome. I can't complain. It has been a great life and now I get to sit back and relax. Seems getting old is not that bad after all.
I miss not having kids. I would have liked to have had a daughter to pass on my crafting skills like my my Mother passed on to me. A son would have been great also to pass on the business back then. It's just as well the lobstermen have it hard these days. <sigh>

My parents are both Maniacs (sp) born and raised but relocated.
My mom had 5 brothers and 6 sisters so I have lots of family up north. She was born on French Island, lived in Old Town. Her dad was a lumberjack. Dad grew up in Bangor. My uncle Arthur was a lobster fisherman. we used to go clamming on Deer Isle. Miss it all. Hear you got some weather up that way ayyyuh

Wells is near the NH border? Can't remember. I don't go south of Portland these days. It's been a few years since I have been to Chebeague. A casco bay Island. That is off the coast of Portland.
It's too buggy here to sit outside. We have to use a screen house. I sew sometimes outside. I wonder how the chickens are going to like the outside. It will be their first year. I am not sure if I want to let them free range or have a mobile built. We have a lot of wild animals up here. Too many. I don't have a dog so that is no help. Can't seem to talk dh into it. Maybe I can wear him down if I buy him something.
He's had his eye on something but it will cost me a pretty penny. A bribe usually works. Sorry my mind wonders a little. Nice to meet you. Nice to meet everyone.
