Hi my name is maria, I have had chickens in the past and now looking forward to getting new ones this year, miss the sound of my Rooster in the mornings.
I use to have white Leghorns, Brahmas, Jersey Giants and a few Silkies, I think out of them all I liked the Brahmas and Silkies the best but loved all my chicks.
Looking forward to reading more about other breeds.

Welcome to BYC. It is great you are getting more chickens and can have a rooster in your area. We had two Brahmas long ago and they were the sweetest birds. Have fun reading all the threads about different breeds usually those are loaded with pictures which is a bonus.
