Hi everyone,
I am new to the forum but I have been lurking on and off for a while. I have been keeping chickens for about 8 years so far. I don't eat my chickens (I am happy to eat other chickens though) only their eggs and I like them as outdoor pets. I have 7 hens and one rooster. My flock is rather old with my eldest hen being 9yo. I got her from a friend when she was 1 year old. My youngest hen is about 3 years old. I add a couple new chicks every 3-4 years and I am about due this coming spring. The reason I joined is so I can post about a medical issue I am having with my eldest hen. I will do that in a separate thread.
