Here too. This mother came up the hill for sunflower seeds in the wild bird feeder, only to find they are now strung high in the tree. Our dogs scared her cubs up the tree. We called them in and then she got her cubs down and left.

We've never had a boar that I know of, just sows and cubs a couple of times a year.

I ran out on the deck and that's our back yard, so whatever the phone was set at when last used was what I shot it at. I was shaking! I got a few pictures then turned and ran back in the house.

Seems like I heard about a few sightings. Wonder what counties? Might have to investigate that a bit. Haven`t heard about any here. Did hear a rumour several years back about a big black cat. I never heard if it was a zoo runaway or wild.

We are only roughly 15 miles from the MI. State line. It has Been at least 10 years ago I was cutting firewood in a woods that was being demolished for farm land. I saw one there and have seen another since! Very beautiful animal! So I can attest Bobcats are here!

Our next door neighbor has a trail cam in the back woods and there was a bobcat about 3 months ago. Another neighbor said a bobcat was about 1/2 - 1 mile away. Hopefully they will remain night predators and/or the motion lights will deter it.

I`m not sure how active they are during daylight hours. I would think a motion sensor activated light would startle them at night as elusive and leery as they are. I enjoyed seeing them the couple of times I did. Beautiful cats, but I would just as soon they stay away from our birds!

That would give a person quite a scare! That would get these old legs moving!
