I joined backyard chickens while searching for a polish hen. I am glad I found this site.

Its funny actually. Ive been on this site so many times but because I am so bad with this computer I never thought I would figure out how to join. Sort of happened by mistake. Im excited though.Thank you for the welcome. I am in Nj and have been searching and searching for a polish hen. I am hoping maybe I can get some help here.

Do a search on 'Sussex Co Poultry show'. In a month or so the show will take place at the Susex Co. fair grounds. Lots of Polish generally for sale there.
 
Thats great information. I just looked it up and there is a show in May a couple hours from me. Do you think they have older polish that are known to be hens or do they basically sell just chicks? Thanks again. Im thrilled I finally have others to talk to about chickens :) Im fairly new. Just had my silkies for about 8 months
