New member from Northwest Indiana!

Hi there! I'm Jessica and live in Northwest Indiana (Valparaiso). I'm a new chicken momma and have 2 Blue Cochins, 2 Dominiques, 1 Black Australorp, 1 Buff Orpington and 1 Barred Rock. I've always wanted chickens and am very excited to start my chicken mom life. I have two teenage daughters and a pit bull. I am a registered nurse and married to an awesome man that built my coop and is thrilled to have the hens as well. This website has been extremely helpful in my research and knowledge of backyard chicken living. Feel free to reach out and talk chicken with me
