Hello im new here and love this site. I ordered 20 chicks from Meyer hatchery on April 19th and all are doing well they are mixed brown egg layers im not sure what they all are but my family and i are having lots of fun researching them here. I cant belive that they are starting to feather in already and how big they get so fast! i also have 3 dogs and 3 cats all of which have been interested in they new arrivals and have accepted them to our home. We started with 2 chicks from a school project from a family friend since then it has been a family affair with my dad joining the fun. Our coop is comming along and it is huge! i think we went a little over board. We call it the chicken mansion. Well hello out there and Happy mothers day to all the mothers. My daughter says chickens are the greatest and has learned alot of responsibility in the last few weeks.
