New member from Ohio

Hello everyone!

My name is Sara Jane.

I'm currently living in OH-IO. And, no, I'm not a buckeye fan lol.

I just joined this site this morning and I really enjoy it already!

I joined because I got a duckling last night and haven't really cared for one before. Usually I'm prepared before I bring an animal in, but this one was a surprise from my Boyfriend.
Sadly, my little ducky died earlier today. However, I am going to stick around because I enjoy it here. Plus I will possibly getting 2 new ducks soon or down the road. Haven't yet decided.

I pretty much have very little to zero knowledge of chickens, ducks, geese etc.
I do know a lot about other animals such as other birds, dogs, cats, cows, horses, reptiles etc.

I was a transplant from Ohio 20 years ago. LOL Needed some sun so I came west.

So sorry about your duckling. But there is a great duck section here with lots of knowledgable folks that can help you out should you need them.

And Twocrowsranch, I know what you mean. I wish I could get more sun here. We had amazing weather for March, mostly sunny and 60-80 degree weather. April has been cold and wet this year. I just want the sun and warm weather back lol.
