my family and i and have just started our adventure in chicken keeping with a little orpington chick this past week.

we are not too far from you, in North Phx. This is our first summer with chickens (we have 3). We are
really enjoying the adventure. Never thought about raising chickens before and now can't imagine life without them. We are
actually thinking about retiring in the Prescott area. Have a few more years to decide but we really enjoy the area. I have learned
so much from this forum. There is also an Arizona thread you might want to check out. Lots of friendly people with
great insight all over this place. Enjoy.
