New member from Puget Sound

I recently moved into an old farm house with a nice big chicken coop so I took the plunge and bought my first batch of chickens last week. I have 11 right now(all hens) but will be adding a rooster soon. I found myself visiting BYC a couple times per day and figured since I'll be frequenting this site I might as well have an account. So far, this forum has been a wonderful source of information and I'm very thankful to have found it.

What breed or breeds are your chickens?

6 Ameraucana
2 Rhode Island Red
2 Golden Polish
1 Barred Rock

Mostly between 1-2 years old. I really like my Barred Rock, I plan to get more. The Polish I got for free and are very tame so my daughters have taken ownership of them

How many more Barred Rocks do you plan to get? Will you get other breeds?

What breed will your rooster be?

Yes, im very happy that they are showing interest in the chickens.

I have enough room for 25-30 total, I wouldnt mind filling out the rest of my flock with barred rocks. I found someone selling Barred Rock cockerels, if I can get to them in time I will get a couple.
