New member from Schaghticoke NY

Hello everyone... I recently moved into the village of Schaghticoke NY. I really would like to get some chicks and start my own little chicken coop. Anyone here know if chickens are allowed in the village here? Im only planning to get hens and I plan to let my neighbor know about it. He seems like the type of person who wouldnt care.

Any info would be great

Maybe get in touch with your County Courthouse and ask them about chicken ordinances for your area by your address! Good Luck!
