I have ordered 10 Dominique pullets from Ideal Poultry that should ship in MAY. MY 11 year old granddaughter are in the process of building an 8x16 chicken tractor with a 4x8 coop that will be moved around on roughly 2 acres of grass and garden spot.

I am renewing my interest in raising backyard chickens. Have ordered 10 Dominique hens that should arrive in May. Since I have retired from EMS I have developed an interest in raising hens for egg production and enjoyment. Was raised on a farm where we had several different types of farm animals, but have been away from that for a few years.

Update on chicks. Got call from hatchery and they are going to be shipped 3 weeks earlier than expected. Have everything ready except feed and will get that closer to ship date.
