1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Brand new at this, it's been 9 days since we brought the chicks home. We lost 2 in the 1st 3 days. We think from runny poop clogging up their back end. But through this community we fixed that. We ground their pellets up and added a seasoning of grit. No dirty butts since!!! Thank you for sharing everyone
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? Started with 10, have 8 left
(3) What breeds do you have?
3 Olive Eggers
1 Black Austrlop
2 Golden Sex Link
2 I don't recall (bad mommy)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard?
Learning about them. I had no idea there is so much to know.
This is something my partner and I are doing together and we're LOVING it.
