Hello!
We are new to this site and to chickens. We bought six, 2 week old chicks (Buff Orpingtons) last week (guess they are 3 weeks old now). They are all female and we wanted them for the eggs of course
Although, our daughters wanted them as pets. We have 4 daughters, ages 15, 12, 7 and almost 5.
We also just rescued 2 female and 1 male Indian Runner Ducks along with an American Buff Goose (female) from what was left of a flock that originally had 19 in it. Where these people lived the bobcats, raccoons and coyotes kept eating them.
Oh, yeah we also have a 10 year old sweet female Dobbie.
