Hi! I’m a new member from Louisiana. My parents had chickens when I was younger but I didn’t have anymore until now. Moved into my own place and decided to give them a try. I have some 2 week old black copper Maran chicks and some 1 week old barred Wyandotte chicks. I have 8 chicks in total.
My fiancé and I just got engaged and decided to start getting chickens. I’ve always loved them and wanted them. We also got a duck and some quail. I’m learning as I’m going. I am also working towards my bachelors degree in Biological Sciences, concentrating in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Im thinking about double majoring in Criminal justice. I’m a busy person but not too busy for my chickens!
