(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes- my MIL "surprised" us with a hen that was given to them to be soup. She's been at my house since Easter! I got chicks on Sunday
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Total i have 7- 6 are chicks and one is unknown but still laying!

(3) What breeds do you have?
Ferry- Euskal Oiloa (older hen)
Barbecue - golden comet
Jennifer (Jenny from the flock)- sapphire gem
Shark- croad langshan
Esther- easter egger
Zoey- light Brahma
Peck- golden laced blue wyandotte

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are like watching reality tv but less toxic lol
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I literally collect hobbies at this point. Im into everything. Lately I've been starting to get into running tho which is unexpected for me

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am married and have a 3 year old boy! I'm a sales area manager for a home detailing company (power washing lol); we live in New Jersey!
