(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Hi! I am new to raising chickens, as I recently moved out of the city! Just got our chicks about three weeks ago.

Three Isa Browns, three Jersey Giants, four Barred Rocks, four Buff Orpingtons, two D'Uccle, and one D'Uccle rooster

Searching for chicken/coop info online.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Anything to do with animals! I used to be involved heavily in dog/cat rescue. I also like to volunteer.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I'm married to the most perfect man and he also shares my love for animals. He has raised chickens before so he knows quite a bit already but I love to learn all that I can about any animal that I get so here I am. I don't have any human children of my own, but I have plenty of pets. Dogs, cats, birds, rats, sugar gliders, pot belly pigs, goats, miniature donkeys, a pet cow, and now chickens!! Ok, so maybe I'm a little crazy but my heart is full! Anyway, so glad to be here and be a part of this group. I'll be looking at chicken coop designs, although my husband says he has ours all planned out. lol
