Welcome because you just don’t have enough yet! Glad you found us and hope you love us like all the rest. :):caf :welcome I’m still in coffee mode yet. Mine are like my children too. I can hear the birds singing this morning and the sun is coming earlier. I am so excited for spring to come. My hens listen to the birds because they sing so close to the hen house and I think they answer it is funny to listen too. 👍

They're gonna be so excited because they're getting a second helping this morning. I already gave them scratch mixed with black sunflower seeds, spinach, and carrots but I was feeling motivated to make one of their favorites, and I'm headed back out with strawberry cinnamon belgian waffles, all chopped up. Because I loves them and they is good chickens.

I already gave them scratch mixed with black sunflower seeds, spinach, and carrots but I was feeling motivated to make one of their favorites, and I'm headed back out with strawberry cinnamon belgian waffles, all chopped up. Because I loves them and they is good chickens.

How old and what kind are your chickens? They are definitely spoiled. Love to see photos if have them. 😃

Photos? Photos, you say? Well, let me get right to it. We have a few cinnamon queens, a naked neck silkie, americana rooster, an encemani rooster, buff orpington, leghorn-silkie, minorca. We have 15. Thirteen are out in the coop, and Q-Tip and Einstein are indoors until the spring. We have Laverne and Shirley, Two-tone Malone, Barnadette, One-eyed Wilma, Cashmere, Bourbon, Butterscotch, Bamboo, Meep-Meep, BB Stark, Raven, and Tulip.

Two-tone and Q-Tip are 2 and we raised them from chicks, BB Stark is the encemani we got who's almost a year now, as are butterscotch and bourbon, but the rest were all rescues so I have no idea how old they are but they're still laying!
