Hi! Did you enjoy your RIRs? I think they are solid, fairly large brown egg layers and would breed true. Mine have always been fairly docile, but I know not everyone has the same experience with them.

I know I could keep a whole flock of Australorp or Speckled Sussex, but generally, I don't think they are as prolific layers as the RIR. When you get more breeds narrowed down, I'd love to hear your choices!
