Thanks everyone! I forgot to mention that i live in southeast texas. I used to raise bantams when I was a teen and now I have a 5 year old daughter who has taken an interest. I was lucky enough to obtain my ameraucanas from paul smith. I did not get them directly from him. A lady in my town placed a huge order with him and I purchased a few of hers. They are beautiful examples of the breed. My blrw's and marans came from chicken scratch poultry. The blrw's need some work but the marans are looking promising.
