I am new to raising chickens as an adult. Raised them as a child/teen but have forgotten everything. Anyway, every time I look up something related to chickens I find myself here so I joined. We are incubating our first hatch. Have 7 week old, and 2 week old chicks. We also have ducks, rabbits, cats, horses, and dogs. My children are loving it when I candle an egg. They love to see new development. They play with our chicks daily and help me take care of our mini farm. Glad to be here and learn lots of new things!

I know how you feel, reading too much about problems with hatching or health concerns (people or chickens) and you start getting paranoid. It's best if you don't pursue those threads unless & until you have a problem.
