Welcome to BYC, Josh. Glad you decided to join our flock. My son's name is Joshua too. Your coop looks very nice. You did a great job on it. Chuncky Bleu Cheese is a Blue Cochin bantam. Wyandotte bantams have rose combs and clean legs, CBC has a single comb and feathered legs. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. What other kinds of chickens do you have?

Thanks Michael I'm glad to be here! I have found a lot of cool stuff on this forum, I hope I don't get too addicted to this site (but then again, that may not be a bad thing.).

Sorry, I missed that last question. I have two Roos, one Light Brahma (Black Tail) and one black cochin bantum (Jersey). I have 19 hens: two Ameracaunas (Cheeks and Chops), two Black Austorlorps (no names yet), two Leghorns ( fog and Horn), one Blue Wyandotte (Big Blue), two Barred Rocks (Mayflower and Pilgrim), one Rhode Island Red (Lil' red), five Buff Orphingtons (Goldie 1 through 5), two Brown Red Cochin Bantums (Squat Walker and Cinnabon), one Light Brahma (Angel), and of course, my favorite girl Chunky Bleu Cheese, a Blue Cochin Bantum. We just rehomed our little Silver Sebright Bantum roo (Cogburn) to a couple who have a few Silver Sebright Bantum hens. I miss him, but not his "all hours, day or night shrill crowing". I'd like to add a pair of Speckled Sussex hens soon. Some of the girls just started laying as they are only about 24-26 weeks old, and I've had seven small very light brown eggs in the last four days. Not sure who they came from yet, but she isn't using the nesting boxes, she's been layed behing the feed can.
 
That's a great mix of breeds. I've had a number of those breeds myself. Light Brahmas were the first breed I ever had (about 50 years ago) and they were gentle giants. I've been raising Black Ausralorps since 1979 and they have become my favorite standard breed; extremely hardy, calm and gentle (my children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of ours), and excllent layers of large brown eggs. Our Ameraucanas (actually ours are Easter Eggers as true Ameraucanas lay only blue eggs) are my granddaughter's (pictured in my avatar) favorite. She loves the different colored eggs that they lay. Speckled Sussex hens would be a good addition to your flock. I've had them in the past and have considered getting some of them again. They are very friendly and hardy birds and good layers of large, brown eggs. Good luck with your flock. Also, I'm assuming by your avatar and user name that you were in the military. I think I met you on an earlier thread here. Your coop is fantastic, I would live in it if I could.
Yes, your girl is a blue bantam cochin. Her name Chunky Blue Cheese however is making me hungry now
