Hi! I am not a newbie to chickens but new to the forum
. I am in MA with my dogs, cat, kiddos, and chickens. We have four 1 year old Barred Rocks (3 hens and an accidental rooster), three 5 week old Noir Maran, three 4 week old Rhode Island Blues, and 4 almost week old EEs. I grew up around my grandpa's rude and mean white chickens (leghorns???) so it took me a long time to consider having chickens. But now I am hooked. I love learning about all the breeds and seeing everyone's flocks. I had an amazing childhood growing up with at my grandparents 5 acre farm in NJ ... he had an amazing garden, geese, my horse and sheep.
