New member in Dallas. I have three 4 week old chicks I'm integrating in with 3 older hens.

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! My top tip for taming would be food, always the best way to a chicks heart. Spending as much time with them as you can even just sitting and chatting to them really helps them get used to you. I start with just chick crumb in my hand flat on the floor they soon come and investigate. Here is a nice article on taming ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/how-to-tame-chickens-from-the-start

If you are adding these chicks to your exsisting hens I would wait untill they are fully grown so they don't get picked on by the bigger birds. The look but don't touch method I'd great. Have them next to each other but seperate at first so they get aquainted. This too is lovely article ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/introducing-new-chickens-using-the-see-but-don-t-touch-method

Wishing you the very best of luck and enjoy BYC :frow
