Hello there! Greetings from VERY snowy Massachusetts! I'm a 5+ year chicken keeper (approx 2 dozen) and I'd like to start a new adventure with ducks. I'd love for members to tell me what breeds, sexes and advice they wish they knew/had when they first started with the quackers!!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to our flock. I'm a chicken person and don't know much about ducks (although I've had a few), but I have to admit that ducklings are the ultimate in cute. You should post this question on our duck section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks where our duck owners hang out and I'm sure you'll get loads of replies there. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. What kind of chickens do you have?

I don't know much about ducks, either (never had any). I suggest posting in the Ducks section that Michael OShay linked to.

I don't know anything about ducks either. So you will definitely want to head over to our Ducks section for more help with this new adventure.

Welcome to the flock, the duck people should be able to answer your questions. I used to feed visiting Mallards that came to our door but, that was in the 80's and as far as it went.
