Hello,
I have been enjoying all the information on this site, and decided to join. I live on Maryland's eastern shore, and we have a small flock of chickens for our enjoyment. My profile picture is a Silver Phoenix rooster, and he is so friendly! I have 6 horses, 1 mule, 4 donkeys, 8 goats, 1 Jacob sheep, 16 ducks, 12 quail, 10 dove, 2 rabbits, 1 golden retriever, 4 cats, and most importantly 25 chickens. Our animals provide endless hours of enjoyment. I look forward to "meeting" new people, and learning all that I can from everyone.

Welcome from Texas. I too get endless hours of enjoyment from our small free-range flock that we share with neighbors. I haven't counted for a day or two, but I think we have 14 over all, including a couple of adolescent peeps and a handsome rooster. Other than our cat, and the birds we feed, we don't have other animals.
