Not sure when. I just relay started looking in to it. I have to check into the local laws to make sure I can get them without any trouble. I have to make the coop first if I can have them.

OK, well good luck!
You can buy chicks first and then you've got a month or two to sort out a coop for them. Chicks don't need a coop, just a cardboard box will do

As for ordinances, do any of these apply to you?

I will be attending chicken stock. I thought I saw that some one will have coops but could not find it again. Hope some will be there so I can look at them.
